An opportunity to make a difference

Community colleges in our region have graduation rates in the teens.   Even some four-year schools see only 60% of students graduate.  The Yale Club of Philadelphia has launched a web-based mentoring program that promises to change those numbers.   Our mentors work mostly online with a student from our community as the student moves through his or her studies.  The mentors are provided with a set of questions to ask and a range of responses. The commitment is approximately 2 or 3 hours a month.
