OCTOBER 23: Mural Dedication – Water Gives Life – Free!

1300 Arch Street Philadelphia PA

It’s Mural Arts Month in Philadelphia! Join us to witness and enjoy the dedication of a mural that Yale alumni volunteers helped paint in May as part of the 2018 Yale Day of Service.

The artwork, Water Gives Life, was created by artists Eurhi Jones and David McShane to celebrate the connection between Philadelphia’s rivers and local horticulture. This mural is a vibrant project of the world-renowned Mural Arts Philadelphia program in collaboration with the Philadelphia Water Department and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.

Come out to learn about “our” new mural in the heart of Center City. After the program, anyone interested can continue discussions nearby at a cafe or even do a self-guided walking mural tour in the surrounding blocks.

If you plan to attend, please let us know by clicking here to register, but drop-ins are welcome, too! There is no cost.
