Have you ever wanted to be part of a solution to a social need? GiveBackHack is the launchpad for social innovation, and it’s finally come to Philadelphia, organized by Yale Alum Sophie Kaye, ’15.
GiveBackHack Philadelphia is a hackathon-style weekend during which participants form teams and hone ideas for products, services, or other initiatives that address social issues. Throughout the weekend you’ll get mentorship and tactics from successful Philly entrepreneurs, then pitch your ideas to a panel of judges – who are themselves successful social entrepreneurs in Philadelphia (Yasmine Mustafa of ROAR for Good, Mason Wartman of Rosa’s Fresh Pizza, Garret Melby of GoodCompany Ventures, and more!) – for the chance to win money to continue growing your ideas into real ventures.
