Reception: 7:00 p.m. Performance: 8:00PM

Suzanne Roberts Theatre 480 S. Broad Street (corner with Lombard St.), Philadelphia

Join us for Philadelphia Theater Company’s production of 4000 Miles, a play by Amy Herzog  dubbed “America’s most interesting young playwright” by the Wall Street Journal. Before the performance we will have an intimate reception drinking bubbly. Stick around after the performance for an engaging talkback with the playwright!

In this poignant yet comic drama, 21-year-old Leo unexpectedly arrives on the doorstep of his feisty 91 year-old grandmother’s West Village apartment, after a grueling cross-country bike trip. Leo can’t face his life….Vera is starting to forget hers.  Over the course of a month, these unlikely roommates infuriate and bewilder one another, and discover the fragile line between growing up and growing old through humor, heartache, and love.

Yale club members are being offered the special discounted price of $47/ticket. Buy your tickets by October 26 to sit together with Yale friends in some of the house’s best seats and avoid a likely sellout.  Tickets purchased after 10/26 will be assigned seats as available.
